(05/03/2014) EVS, the leading provider of live video production systems, is participating in the first ever Sports Venue Media & Technology Summit (SportsVMT). As well as being one of the headline sponsors of the summit, EVS is presenting its pioneering C-Cast connected technology. SportsVMT takes place on 17-18 March in Preston, UK and targets commercial, media and marketing executives from across the sports industry.
Hosted by ADI, the two-day event will focus on the opportunities that connectivity brings to modern day sports venues, and will examine how today's technology can boost fan engagement and content monetisation. S bastien Verlaine, marketing manager EMEA at EVS, will be speaking at the event and present EVS' ground-breaking C-Cast project with Sporting Innovations to deliver exclusive content to fans' mobile devices at Sporting Park in Kansas City.
Consumers have a seemingly endless appetite for content and this has extended into the modern day stadium, commented Verlaine. Today it's all about giving fans an enriched match-day experience, both inside and outside the stadium. We're very excited to be involved in an event like SportsVMT, which aims to help sports organisations deal with this technological shift.
EVS' VP business development sports division, Xavier De Vynck, will also be taking part in a panel discussion on the significance of sports venue Wi-Fi.
