Musicians Stilo Magolide and Big Zulu-real name Siyabonga Johannes Nene promised their fans and online followers a surprise boxing match on Tuesday, 23 May, and caught them off guard when they announced that the so-called match had already taken place and was available to be streamed on several platforms.

IQHUPHA': BIG ZULU AND STILO MAGOLIDE IN THE BOXING RING? On 23 April, Big Zulu knocked out Uyajola 9/9 bouncer Brian Dings during the match's first round, Sunday World reported. Dings was said to have asked for a rematch but that never happened.

On Thursday, 18 May, Magolide announced he would be taking Big Zulu on in the ring and said,

It's official on the 23rd of May the fight is on myself and @bigzulu_sa go at it in a surprise boxing match details coming soon Who is your money on?

Meanwhile, on his Instagram, Big Zulu confirmed Magolide's announcement and reacted,

The musician both shared a poster of themselves dressed in boxing gear and gave their fans and online followers the impression that they were going to fight in the ring on Tuesday, 23 May. However, it seems that the hype for today's match was almost all in vain. The musicians have instead decided to collaborate on a song titled IQHUPHA which was released on several social media platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and more.

The musicians' fans and online followers were disappointed to have been toyed with by Magolide and Big Zulu. However, they were still hopeful that the new song was merely a soundtrack for the physical boxing match that they hoped was still to come.
