RT Radio Remains Number 1 Choice For Listeners 01 May 2014: 1,829,000 (51%) adults listen to RT Radio every week and RT Radio scores 18 of the Top 20 programmes among adults 15+
Commenting on the latest figures Jim Jennings, Managing Director, RT Radio said: "Overall this is a good book for RT Radio and it is particularly gratifying considering all the changes that have taken place within the radio market over the past year. RT Radio 1 Grows Market Share to 23.1%
RT Radio 1 weekly reach 1,290,000 adults, most listened to national station, over 400,000 ahead of its nearest national competitor.
Morning Ireland remains the number 1 radio programme in Ireland everyday with 444,000 listeners
Top 4 timeblock year-on-year gains nationally are for RT Radio 1, The Marian Finucane Show on Sunday, Saturday Sport, Sunday Sport, Saturday with Claire Byrne
312,000 listen to Today with Sean O'Rourke' programme on RT Radio 1
Saturday Sport up 11,000 b-o-b to 196,000 and a massive 69,000 y-o-y an increase of 54%
Sunday Sport up 7,000 b-o-b and 42,000 y-o-y to 178,000
The Marian Finucane Show on Sunday went up 10,000 b-o-b and 72,000 y-o-y to 363,000
The Marian Finucane Show on Saturday is static on b-o-b and up 18,000 to 376,000 y-o-y
Saturday with Claire Byrne up by 29,000 to 219,000 y-o-y
Sunday with Miriam is up by 13,000 to 262,000 y-o-y
Liveline with Joe Duffy has the highest average qtr hour audience for a national programme at 316,000 with a timeblock reach of 390,000 all adults
RT Radio 1 retains its position as market leader in the Irish National radio market. The station's market share is up year-on-year to 23.1% with significant year-on-year increases for The Marian Finucane Show, Saturday Sport, Sunday Sport, Saturday with Claire Byrne and The Weekend with Cathal Murray.

RT 2fm Market Share grows in Dublin to 5.7%
Commenting today, Head of 2fm, Dan Healy said: This JNLR is too soon to see any changes in the 2fm schedule however, we have seen progress in the Dublin market compared to this time last year which is a significant goal for the radio station which is now bigger than 98FM . (Primetime Market Share).

RT lyric fm reach stable on Saturday and Sunday at 2%
On its 15th Anniversary, RT lyric fm increases station reach by 1 point year on year.
