BRAINPOOL TV Germany installs a complete Cinegy HD production workflow

Cinegy is pleased to announce its recent installation in Germany's award winning production houses BRAINPOOL TV GmbH.

BRAINPOOL TV GmbH was founded 1994 and is today one of Germany's most successful independent TV producers for comedy and light entertainment. Every year, BRAINPOOL produces almost 320 hours of television programming, broadcast by Germany's leading broadcasting stations including ProSieben, Sat.1, RTL and Das Erste.

The Cinegy installation at BRAINPOOL was overseen by Cinegy's partner 0221 MEDIAGROUP and includes a complete HD based production workflow solution encompassing Cinegy's innovative media asset management solution; Cinegy Archive.

Our team was searching for an intuitive tool that would optimize our workflow with an underlying database that could be customized to meet our needs , says Carsten Mauel, IT Department, BRAINPOOL.

Prior to installing a Cinegy Archive, BRAINPOOL had an extensive tape based workflow where its team would carry tapes daily throughout their German based premises. Excel sheets and in-house databases were used to organize the workflow.

Changing from a tape based workflow to a Cinegy based workflow provides us with one solution that's gets all the work done. Cinegy allows us to have a complete overview of every piece of material that has been produced and owned by BRAINPOOL , continues Carsten Mauel.
