Our relationship with Quantum has been in development for several years now. We are always striving to deliver ground-breaking media production solutions, create enhanced opportunities for innovation and set new standards for integration between products. Partnerships make that possible, so they are at the core of our solutions. Our open API facilitates a highly customisable solution which our customers can be sure is suited to their needs. In fact, approximately 40% of our current customer base use Quantums StorNext, an advanced data management solution.
Why is our partnership so valuable? Quantum has a long-standing leadership position in media content storage and workflows. Its high-performance storage solutions can handle even the most demanding data-intensive workloads. Affordability is also a shared value between ourselves and Quantum. Thanks to StorNexts policy-driven tiering capabilities, users can archive less-used data to the most cost-effective storage based on rules set in Cantemo Portal while, at the same time, maintaining transparency and access.
At Cantemo, we recognise that video production is often a collaborative process, so workflows have to accommodate this. Quantums Xcellis shared storage is designed for collaborative workflows. Providing both performance and accessibility, Xcellis can extend high-speed collaboration to a range of users regardless of geographic location.
Our Media Asset Management solution, Portal, provides users with an easy-to-navigate interface for searching, viewing, annotating and editing assets. The combination of Cantemo and Quantums services creates an environment where every file and piece of content is readily available to locate at no time at all. Utilisation of resources is key to monetising content and generating value. If one is incapable of finding the correct piece of content at the right time, then that content is essentially useless. The same goes for archived files; if one is unable to archive content within a storage solution that keeps it safe, but not hidden, then the content may as well have been destroyed. Media management and storage are two sides to a coin. To enable a joint and efficient workflow, both solutions work in tandem.
Best of all, our affinity for integrations means that our joint users can create an end-to-end comprehensive workflow from ingestion all the way through to distribution. Just recently we announced integrations with the latest release of Adobe Premiere Pro and our new cloud-based media aggregation platform, iconik.
Whats next for us? Within the next few months, were undertaking another partnered initiative with Quantum to develop the ability to provide media management and storage services to a wider range of clients engaged in the creation of corporate video.
We at Cantemo have always prided ourselves on being ahead of the game. Bundling solutions into one easily understood package allows us to bring a cost-effective, specialised solution to those businesses that produce enough video content to warrant a solution, but arent exclusively media professionals. Our integrated solution will offer an entire workflow, especially designed for these very businesses. Given that Quantum already has vital experience in non-industry sectors, they are the perfect partner to assist us in this enterprise.
