It was announced today that Amit Chopra, current COO of Academy Award -winning visual effects company Digital Domain 3.0 has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President for its parent company Digital Domain Holdings Limited . This new role is an acknowledgment of Amit's ability and contribution to the strength and stability of Digital Domain 3.0 and further illustrates Digital Domain Holdings commitment to Digital Domain 3.0 and its current direction. Amit will be a key part of the operations and financial strategy for both companies and will have expanded responsibility in business development, acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers and co-productions. He will also retain his current duties as COO of Digital Domain 3.0.

Amit joined Digital Domain 3.0, Inc. in 2012 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the company. He is responsible for building strategic relationships and partnerships with vendors and key clients, merger and acquisition activity as well as ongoing operations. Bringing 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and operations, with focused expertise in corporate restructuring, Amit's experience in the media and entertainment industry as well as logistics, finance and accounting gives him a thorough understanding of the key drivers of the group's business and for new growth opportunities for the company. Prior to joining Digital Domain 3.0, Amit spent four years at Reliance MediaWorks Limited, one of India's leading media and entertainment companies, last serving as Vice President of Finance of its U.S. operations. During his tenure Amit acquired extensive knowledge and understanding of post production, theatrical exhibition of films as well as film and media services and distribution. Before that he held financial controller and other senior level financial and accounting positions at companies in the semiconductor, logistics, IT consulting and software industries. Amit holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from California State University Northridge.
