Road to 2020: VSN's 20 milestones to welcome the New Year

At VSN we leave behind a year full of innovations and advances in our determination to offer the best technological solutions that perfectly adapt to the needs of our customers, as well as to the frenetic evolution of the Media industry. In this article, we review the 20 highlights of the year that got us here. To an amazing 2020 and everything that is yet to come!

Aligned with its product development goals and international expansion plans, VSN culminates a year full of great news and important advances in various fields: from new products and innovation, to the deployment of interesting projects worldwide. These are the 20 most outstanding milestones that have marked the evolution of the company this year and that get us warmed up for 2020:

We released the HTML5 version of VSNCrea, our traffic and scheduling system, with great success and market acceptance. During the first months since it was launched, it has already been deployed for some of our most important clients!

We were awarded with our first project in Belgium for Videohouse. The production and post-production company, part of the Euro Media Group, selected VSN to consolidate their global media asset management and production system.

We automated 31 new regional stations for Imagen TV: the third most important TV channel in Mexico, which previously had relied on VSN to deploy an End-to-End solution for their media management, workflow automation and programming planning needs.

We have deployed more than 90 projects worldwide in 2019.

We created the first web plugin for a MAM system, VSN NewsConnect, which offers maximum interoperability and flexibility in news production, allowing users to connect and make any third-party system, like NRCS, CG, studio playout and video server, accessible through one single interface.

We have contributed to improve the exchange of media files and content in the industry thanks to our Media Exchange solution, capable of adapting to the specific requirements of any organization or application. Clients such as the Federation of regional radio and TV stations in Spain (FORTA) already benefits from its advanced features.

TV channel Ukraine, the most popular television channel in the country, chose our software for the complete overhaul and upgrade of their media management and news production.

Our clients have rated the VSN's technical support service with a global mark of 8.9 out of 10, ratifying the good results that the company has been obtaining for the last 4 years.

We renewed the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate as a distinctive and quality assurance of our technology development processed and customer satisfaction policy.

Our presence in the Russian and CIS market has expanded with the recent signings of Sergey Astakhov and Alexander Kosushkin.

Moreover, Alfonso V zquez and Armando Aramis have also joined the company to help us boost the company's presence in the Latin American market.

We have started collaborating with some top industry leaders such as Qvest Media, Object Matrix or SNEWS, among others.

We have released new highlight videos of our systems. Take a look at them!

We have showcased more than 150 customized online demos, with an average satisfaction score of 8.96 out of 10.

We have developed up to 25 Proof of Concepts (PoC) in 2019 with great acceptance and success rate.

RTVE's Journalism Innovation HUB project, in which VSN participates with its MAM system in the cloud integrated with Artificial Intelligence tools, has successfully covered the Festival of Almagro, taking full advantage of the most innovative mobile journalism techniques.

We have presented and showcased our software solutions in 25 international events and trade shows worldwide.

We have shared our knowledge, experiences and future expectations for the Broadcast and Media industry in international events such important as the FIAT / IFTA World Congress 2019, the World Television Summit 2019 or the General Assembly of La RED in Mexico.

And if that weren't enough, we end this year with the best turnover of all the company's history!
