TONEX ONE Double Special Limited Edition from IK Multimedia

Captures two sought-after Dumble combo amps

The latest TONEX release captures a pair of sought-after Dumble amplifiers from IK Multimedia's private amp vault. Valued at over $300,000, the legendary amps have been modelled using IK's TONEX V2 AI Machine Modeling process, and are available pre-loaded onto a limited-edition TONEX ONE Double Special pedal (which includes 20 exclusive Tone Models that aren't available elsewhere), or as part of a new Double Special TONEX Signature Collection expansion.

Limited-Edition TONEX ONE Limited to just 1000 units worldwide, the TONEX ONE Double Special pedal is crafted in Italy with a custom vintage-brown finish, and comes pre-loaded with 20 exclusive Premium Tone Models that are not available in the standard Double Special Collection.

Along with its 20 onboard tones, the pedal unlocks the full Double Special TONEX Signature Collection within TONEX software, as well as the ODS Legends Signature Collection, which features 20 additional Tone Models captured from four other Dumble guitar amplifiers. Overall, the package includes six highly collectible amplifiers that have been valued at more than your average house!

Double Special TONEX Signature Collection The Double Special TONEX Signature Collection includes 40 Premium Tone Models captured from two historic Overdrive Special combos. IK say that the collection has been inspired by the expressive blues-driven Texas tones, smooth fusion sustain, and articulate edge-of-breakup textures heard in the work of players such as Robben Ford, Carlos Santana, John Mayer and Larry Carlton.

The two amplifiers include a late-1970s export model that delivers an open-sounding top end, blooming mids, and a highly touch-sensitive response, producing piano-like cleans and smooth vocal overdrive. a refined 1980 model then offers tighter low end, faster transient response and increased articulation at higher-gain settings. Each amplifier was captured with and without a cabinet across a wide range of sweet spots, channel configurations and gain settings. The collection also includes full rigs that were captured with classic front-end boost pedals, including a model inspired by a Klon Centaur, a TS10 and a JHS Morning Glory.
