Bihai is an overseas girl from Ningbo University. She comes from Latvia and is interested in all the novelties. Bihai graduated from the junior high school in 2008 and chose to learn Chinese in University of Latvia. Bihai could read and even understand the classical Chinese after three years' study in the university. The more she learned about the Chinese language, the more she wanted to lean the Chinese culture. She hit upon the idea for coming to China. Then in 2011, she luckily got a chance. The Confucius Institutein University of Latvia held a Chinese Contest and Bihai won the first place. This provided a good chance for Bihai to start her life in Ningbo University.

During these years in Ningbo, Bihai has traveled about China in her spare time. She went to Yunnan, Tibet, Hainan, Heilongjiang and other places in China. Bihai takes every opportunity to actively participate in the local life in Ningbo. For example, she once went to the local people's home to experience the Spring Festival, bought the railway tickets during the Spring Festival Holiday to experience the busy traffic and worked in the Chinese enterprises to experience the corporate culture. In 2012, Bihai began her study for MBA in Ningbo University. In 2015, Bihai got married with a local boy in Ningbo. Her husband is engaged in the foreign trade, so Bihai is planning to establish a foreign trade company after graduation. Based on her detailed market research, Bihai finds that the light industry products of China is quite popular in Latvia while the amber, medicated liquor, milk, rye bread and other specialties of Latvia are also welcomed in China. Bihai is from Latvia and her husband is from China. Both of them are quite familiar with the markets of their own country, so she's confident about her plan
