Calibrated Software Releases Upgrade to Calibrated AVC-Intra Create That Brings Sony XAVC Intra Encoding to Compressor
Calibrated Software, an innovator of applications and plug-ins for video and asset management software, has released a major update of its Calibrated AVC-Intra Create product that adds Sony XAVC Intra encoding to Apple's Compressor application.
Calibrated AVC-Intra Create already supports the exporting of Panasonic AVC-Intra MOV files, P2 and OP1a AVC-Intra MXF files with metadata from Apple Compressor and other third-party applications. This new releaseexpands the capabilities of Calibrated AVC-Intra Create to include new support for exporting Sony-compliant XAVC Intra MXF files with Sony metadata at HD, QFHD and 4K resolutions.

Upgrade is free to current customers of Calibrated AVC-Intra Create.
Sony's XAVC Intra format is a successful component of many Sony cameras and professional post-productionworkflows, and this new integration with Calibrated AVC-Intra Create gives professionals a wide range of XAVC Intra encoding options said Ryosuke Hayashi, Deputy Senior General Manager, Media Segment Business Division, Sony Corporation. The addition of Sony XAVC encoder technology in Calibrated AVC-Intra Create ensures a high picture quality of the generated Sony XAVC streams.
