Family Comedy Feature Launches Into Production In Toronto Monday June 2, 2014

TORONTO (May 30, 2014) - Breakthrough Entertainment will commence principal photography on Bark Ranger, an original family comedy feature franchise that will shoot in Toronto beginning Monday June 2.

Produced by Breakthrough Entertainment in association with Bell Media and Corus Entertainment, BARK RANGER is distributed worldwide by Breakthrough Entertainment which has presold the family feature in Canada, the US, France, Latin America and Indonesia

BARK RANGER stars Lucius Hoyos (The Colony), Zoe Fraser (The Last Halloween), Marty Adams (Repo Men), Jason Blicker (The Day After Tomorrow), Trenna Keating (Defiance) and Ari Cohen (My Babysitter's A Vampire) in a family comedy where a 12-year-old boy and his newfound friend - a rambunctious talking dog - embark on a quest to uncover a long-lost goldmine - unaware they are being trailed by a pair of bumbling thieves bent on taking them hostage.

BARK RANGER is directed by Duncan Christie. Executive Producers are Nat Abraham, Ira Levy, Mike McGuigan and Peter Williamson. Producers are Neil Bregman, Tim Brown and Shayne Putzlocher. Writer is Jason Delaney. Director of Photography is Fraser Brown.
