Sky News and Sky Sports launch on Snapchat Discover

Sky News and Sky Sports launch on Snapchat Discover to provide news and sport to millions of young people in the UK and Ireland who use the service on a daily basis. Snapchat Discover offers a fresh and creative platform to present stories specifically made for mobile.

Sky News and Sky Sports will publish an edition each afternoon featuring 6-10 distinctive snaps', using a combination of images, video and text. Snapchat users will also have the option to view a long form articles and videos.

Snapchatters who updated their app following the initial Discover launch on 27th January will find Sky News and Sky Sports automatically. Others will need to update their app.

When an edition is completed, the channel colours invert. When new content is available, the logo returns to full colour.
