Visit Matrox Video at Smart Building Expo 2023 in Hall 6P, Stand B37
Technology innovator Matrox Video today announced its lineup for the Smart Building Expo 2023, to be held Nov. 15-17 in Milan. At Stand B37 in Hall 6P, AV systems integrators and other attendees will gain insight into how Matrox Video's array of video encoders/decoders, IP KVM extenders, and video wall products cater to the wide-ranging requirements of compressed, lightly compressed, and uncompressed IP signal transport. These offerings meet the diverse streaming, recording, extension, and visualization needs of pro AV, control room, and digital signage environments.
We are excited to bring our latest innovations to the Smart Building Expo 2023, from our AVoIP, IPMX-ready ConvertIP solution to our LUMA Series graphics cards, said Jochen K hl, sales and marketing director for Matrox Video's AV/IT group. As the industry continues to evolve, Matrox Video remains committed to delivering solutions that foster collaboration, connectivity, and productivity. Our presence at this year's expo underscores our dedication to shaping the future of AV technology.
Live Demonstrations
At Smart Building Expo 2023, Matrox Video will demonstrate four systems in live operation, with connected displays showing relevant content for different use cases depending on the system. Key products being demonstrated will be:
Real-time compressed and uncompressed AVoIP with IPMX-ready ConvertIP encoders/decoders and ConductIP media routing appliance and software: ConvertIP Series encoders/decoders enable interoperable, flexible, and scalable IP-based infrastructures delivering lossless, zero-latency 4K signals across 1, 10, and 25GbE pro AV networks. Based on industry standards, these fanless, PoE+ devices ensure 24/7 reliability and make possible a new range of exceptional-quality, real-time to near-real-time AV-over-IP applications, including bridging HDBaseT to AV-over-IP networks. Matrox ConvertIP products have secured JT-NM badges and are confirmed to be compatible with many SMPTE ST 2110 products offered by dozens of brands. ConvertIP is Matrox Video's first IPMX-ready AVoIP solution and is already in use. (See below for more about IPMX.)
Available as a web server-based application packaged in a small-form-factor appliance, ConductIP gives a real-time, comprehensive view of all media content on an IP network while allowing users to organize devices based on their unique setup. ConductIP is designed to simplify content distribution in AV networks of any size and makes it possible to discover, monitor, and route any AMWA NMOS-enabled SMPTE ST 2110- or IPMX-ready device or signal.
Quad-4K streaming and recording with Maevex 6100 Series encoders and decoders: The Maevex 6100 Series brings the benefits of multichannel video transport over LAN, WAN, and the internet to collaboration-focused environments. With high-quality, low-bandwidth, low-latency, H.264-based streaming and recording and zero-latency pass-through for real-time output of AV content, operators can distribute critical content to any location to facilitate informed, accurate, real-time decision-making. They can also enhance situational awareness and monitoring operations by using Maevex 6100 Series encoder- and decoder-based AV-over-IP platforms to transmit content to personnel located across different campuses, cities, and continents.
4K IP KVM matrix with multiview using Extio 3 IP KVM extenders: Extio 3 IP KVM extenders create productivity-enhancing remote workspaces that allow control room operators to simultaneously monitor and control multiple centralized workstations from any location. The Extio 3 solution is a KVM matrix system over IP that features 4K/quad-HD extension and switching support alongside the Tile View multiview feature. It permits operators to securely monitor and control up to four systems on one full-HD or 4K display using a single keyboard and mouse over standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet LAN, WAN, and internet networks.
Full-HD and 4K video walls with Matrox Mura IPX Series cards: With Matrox Mura IPX Series capture, encode, decode, and display cards, OEMs and system builders get best-of-breed hardware and software with advanced video processing and networking capabilities to enhance their video wall controllers, multiviewers, operator workstations, and personal video walls. Featuring unprecedented, high-density full-HD and 4K support, the world-class Mura IPX video wall portfolio is ideal for control rooms, digital signage, AV presentation, security, and more.
On Display: Matrox LUMA Series Graphics Cards for 8K- and HDR-ready Video Walls On view at the Matrox Video stand will be the new Matrox LUMA Series graphics cards, which enable 8K- and HDR-ready video walls. The company will display two of the cards the low-profile LUMA A310 and the standard-height LUMA Pro A380P in open chassis to show typical use cases.
Matrox Video's professional implementation of Intel Arc GPUs, Matrox LUMA Series graphics cards are engineered to power digital signage and video wall systems. With a single-slot form factor, they provide the ultimate display versatility, supporting configurations such as dual 8Kp60, dual 5Kp120, or four 5Kp60 DisplayPort 2.1 monitors. Users can also combine cards to drive a high-density-output video wall of up to 16 synchronized 5K screens. LUMA Pro Series graphics cards have additional video wall capabilities, including a board-to-board connector for frame-lock support, native HDCP compatibility with Matrox HDMI capture cards, the capability to create a single large canvas using multiple cards, and the hardware decoding of H.264 and H.265 streams using Matrox Mura software libraries.
