Newtec Dialog , the Award-Winning Multiservice Platform that Embraces Change
Dive deeper into Newtec Dialog with an exclusive tour of the multiservice platform. Newtec Dialog guarantees optimal modulation and bandwidth allocation - whether it is being used for enterprise (e.g. VSAT), mobility or HTS networks. Newtec's engineers have achieved this by inventing a new patented return link technology called Mx-DMA or Cross-Dimensional Multiple Access. Together with HighResCoding (HRC ), it combines the best of both worlds, incorporating the best features of MF-TDMA and SCPC technologies to enable services to run more efficiently than ever before over satellite, while still providing the option to have the platform also run in either SCPC or MF-TDMA.

ABOUT THE NEWTEC MCX7000 MULTI-CARRIER SATELLITE GATEWAY The Newtec MCX7000 is a new dense DVB-S2X multi-carrier satellite gateway for efficient distribution to towers and head-ends, resulting in OPEX and CAPEX savings. It brings increased bandwidth efficiency of up to 51% and features multistream, as well as Newtecs Clean Channel Technology and its linear and non-linear pre-distortion technology Equalink 3 (see more below). ABOUT EQUALINK 3: ADD 15% MORE CHANNELS IN A DTH CARRIER Equalink is Newtec's linear and non-linear pre-distortion technology. The newest version 3, available on Newtec's broadcast modulator/modem MDM6100 R2.6 and MCX7000 Multi-Carrier Satellite Gateway, provides breakthrough performance gains on DTH satellite links. Operators can increase the link margin of all set-top boxes in the field by simply enabling Equalink 3 at the modulator side. Live satellite tests have demonstrated 0.4 dB gain for QPSK 5/6 (10% throughput gain) and more than 0.6 dB gain for 8PSK 5/6 (15% throughput gain). This extra link margin can be used to improve the coverage/availability or it can be used to increase the symbol rate in combination with a lower roll-off factor.
