Tipperary's epic second half All Ireland Hurling Final comeback draws over one million viewers to RT 2

Record high of 400,000 streams on RT Player

Tipperary's win over Cork in yesterday's All Ireland Hurling Final drew an average audience of 980,000 viewers to RT 2's coverage on The Sunday Game Live with 78% of the available audience tuning-in as Joanne Cantwell presented live coverage. Viewership peaked at 1,119,000 towards the end of the game (17.10).

The Sunday Game Live (including Sunday Game Beo) had 400,645 streams on RT Player yesterday. This is the highest figure for a Football or Hurling final on RT Player to date.

Sunday Game Beo on RT News channel and RT Player, presented by Gr inne McElwain, had Irish language commentary of the final while Sunday Sport on RT Radio 1 brought listeners all the action from yesterday's final as did Raidi na Gaeltachta's Sp rt an Lae.

Last night, Jacqui Hurley and guests looked back at the Hurling season and analysed Tipp's win on The Sunday Game on RT 2, watched by an average of 244,000 with a share of 29% while there were 39,000 streams on RT Player.

The hurling weekend began on Saturday night on RT One as an average audience of 316,000 watched Up For The Match on RT One as Jacqui Hurley and Des Cahill were joined live in studio by GAA legends, fans, and surprise guests to celebrate the All-Ireland final. Up For The Match had 58,000 streams on RT Player.

Fans were also heavily engaged with The Sunday Game across RT 's social media platforms with video views reaching 6.19 million with over 668,000 engagements.
