BroaMan is the latest company to support TVBEurope 2020, which debuts next month as part of TVBEurope's Broadcast Strategy week. BroaMan has taken the position of Gold Sponsor of the new conference which takes place at BAFTA, London, on Tuesday 30 June.
BroaMan (Broadcast Manufactur GmbH) has been set up by the founders of German optical fibre pioneers, Optocore, in order to apply its world-leading network technology to the broadcast and video post production industries.
BroaMan manufactures products necessary for the infrastructure of broadcast applications such as studios, OB vans or sport events. The devices transport broadcast signals including digital and analogue video, digital and analogue audio, digital and analogue intercom, and all forms of control data, on copper and fibre infrastructure. If required, this includes format conversions, as well as routing of signals based on automatic or manual rules, up/downscalers, and frame synchronisers.
As a service company, BroaMan builds devices and delivers solutions to customer requirements. To implement this, the company uses a pool of the best available technologies, and mainly those based on open standards. These include 3G-SDI (SMPTE); camera links; WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) for video; optocore; SANE; MADI; IP based systems for audio; analogue, AES and IP based systems for intercom; IEEE802 (Ethernet); serial data; DMX; MIDI; CAN for control. BroaMan strongly believes in the usage of open standards where possible for maximum future proofing.
TVBEurope 2020 is the new one-day conference with a focus on on UHD, IT and IP infrastructures, featuring sessions that will offer strategic insights for companies building their business roadmaps in the run up to 2020. TVBEurope Strategy Week kicks off on Monday 29 June and will involve roundtables and webinars throughout the week, as well as the new one-day conference.
