ACSE with Cineflex Ultra

(12/02/2015) General Dynamics Global Imaging Technologies has introduced Cineflex ULTRA, a compact gyro-stabilized camera system that can be customized with high-definition 4K and 6K cameras, as well as the longest lens available. The ULTRA incorporates the recently launched geo-pointing option, GEO+, which enables video overlays, system and lens metadata and geo-pointing advanced filming techniques. Additionally, with the Cineflex ULTRA system weighing in at less than 100 lbs/45kg, cinematographers, directors and broadcast media have the ease-of-use and flexibility they need to secure the breathtaking images that capture viewers imaginations.

ACSEs CAL-Tool - Calibration tool for Cineflex

ENGACSE GmbH offers a new useful tool for calibrating CINEFLEX camera systems!After a long term use of a Cineflex at least a laptop and a special software have been necessary to calibrated the system properly. But the software is not available for everyone! If the laptop has booted, possibly the battery performance is low and the calibration needs to be performed in the service again! There will be no more of these problems on a set in the future!

The CAL-Tool, made by ACSE GmbH, is operating with a commercial 9V battery which is available almost everywhere in the world. A serial cable is connecting the Cal-Tool with the service input port of the Cineflex. The display of the CAL-Tool shows a navigation menu which leads the user to the desired result gradually. In a short period of time of 2.5 - 3 minutes and without any further utililities you can always perform a calibration, stress-free on the set.
