RTVE and the Academy of engineering create an Observatory on digital transformation of media The Observatory will have among its objectives activities of study and exchange of knowledge between the stakeholders and dissemination of the digital transformation of the audiovisual sector national and international experiences.

Corporate CEOs RTVE, Enrique Alejo, and President of the Royal Academy of engineering)RAING), El as Fereres, have signed an agreement to renew their collaboration in innovation, through an agreement which created the Observatory on the digital transformation of the sector average. The agreement has been signed during the day Challenges and opportunities for the use of large data in the audiovisual sector. Analysis of the feeling of the audience , the first event held on Thursday, November 23 and under this new Observatory.

Professionals of RTVE, the Royal Academy of engineering, the University and other companies in the sector, have been discussed in the University Carlos III on the challenges of audience measurement, monitoring and analysis of social networks and digital media to make decisions, or Big Data and Cloud services.

The Observatory will have among its objectives activities of study and exchange of knowledge between the stakeholders and dissemination of the digital transformation of the audiovisual sector national and international experiences.

The activities under the institutional and technical coverage of the Royal Academy of engineering and of RTVE. The main lines of activity include: new technologies of automatic analysis of information in social networks and management of large volumes of information, applied to the analysis of the feelings of the audience; advanced analysis of textual information, image recognition and natural language processing techniques; and new forms of knowledge of the audience and measurement tools.
