How is everyone's Easter weekend going? If you've had your fill of excitement for the weekend and just want to chill out at home on Sunday, M-Net has your back and brings you Ready Player One in the 20:00 Sunday movie slot.
Ready Player One, a science fiction film set in a dystopian future, was produced and directed by the acclaimed Steven Spielberg. It is based on Ernest Cline's 2011 eponymous novel.

Ready Player One Plot The events of the film are set in 2045, in a world on the brink of chaos and collapse. However, people have found salvation in the form of OASIS, and expansive virtual reality universe created by James Halliday.
When Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world. An unlikely hero named Wade Watts arises.
WATCH: Ready Player One Trailer Critics' reviews Lo and behold! For a change, the esteemed film critics out there actually liked a mainstream movie! Sandie Angulo Chen from Common Sense Media said Steven Spielberg has lovingly captured the zeitgeist of 80s nostalgia.
In addition, Jonathan Pile from Empire said Spielberg has done the impossible by balancing sugar-rush nostalgia with an involving story to create a pure, uncynical, cinematic ride that recaptures the magic of his early films.
Sandy Schaefer from Screen Rant wasn't all that impressed with Spielberg's latest work and said:
An impressive work of technical showmanship, Ready Player One nevertheless falls short of recapturing that old-school Spielberg blockbuster magic.
