67% VOTER TURNOUT IN SHARJAH CONSULTATIVE COUNCIL POLLS

The first SCC polls recorded an impressive 67% voter turnout. The total number of votes polled stood at 16,696. The number of male voters stood at 9,694 (58%) while the female voter turnout was recorded at 7002 (42%). While Sharjah City polled 5,742 votes (57%), it was followed by Khorfakkan with 3,488 votes (70%).
