(Arvato Systems) G tersloh, Germany - Arvato Systems was named Leader in the Intelligent Operations - Midmarket segment by ISG, one of the leading market research and consulting companies in the information technology sector, in its recently published Digital Transformation Services & Solutions 2018 study. According to ISG, the prerequisite for classification as a Leader is the provision of a highly attractive range of products and services as well as a strong market and competitive position.
According to the study, a key feature of the Intelligent Operations market segment is the combination of traditional operational excellence and technological sophistication with managed services expertise. This is associated with "a deep understanding of the business demands and thus the industry-specific challenges of customers." On the provider side, "the interplay between IT trend topics (for example, data analytics, cloud computing, Internet of Things, mobile enterprise/business and cyber security) is also a prerequisite in this market segment.
To assess the providers, ISG used a comprehensive list of criteria, which includes aspects such as experience in the individual cloud data center design, assistance with the launch of cloud resources, cloud engineering/architecture skills, IT governance and security expertise, data analytics and/or big data experience, and partnerships with relevant cloud providers.
In specific terms, the study states that With its platform, Arvato Systems provides service modules for all cloud environments, and its operational activities take place in dedicated, certified data centers in Germany. Partnerships with the major cloud providers AWS and Microsoft Azure and other Internet Service Providers (ISPs) expand the options and allow a multi-cloud architecture. Arvato Systems provides comprehensive cloud services that can be implemented gradually, in parallel with ongoing operations.
