Prince Harry opened up about how he feels his wife Meghan Markle resembles his mom Princess Diana in the first episode of their Netflix docuseries which released on 8 December.

PRINCE HARRY OPENS UP ABOUT PRINCESS DIANA The Duke of Sussex first mentioned his mom - Princess Diana for the first time in the docuseries saying - she made most of her decisions from her heart and that I am my mother's son .

He went on to say that she was one of the most powerful women in the world, but she was heavily exposed to the media. He explained that this started when she married into the royal family but got worse when she split from his father - King Charles.

She may have been one of the most powerful women in the world, but she was completely exposed, he said.

So, Harry felt like he didn't know where he would find someone who was able to deal with the baggage of marrying him.

How can I ever find someone who was willing and capable of being able to withstand all of the baggage that comes with being with me, said Harry opening up about his fears.

He also opened up about his mom's death explaining that he and his brother, Prince William had to both be grieving sons and show no emotion.

When my mum died we had two hats to wear. One was two grieving sons trying to process that grief, the other was show no emotion, get out there and meet the people and shake their hands, he said with archive footage of Princess Diana's funeral and news reports.

THE DUKE FEELS MEGHAN REMINDS HIM OFF HIS MOM One of the bombshells from the first episode of the series is that Prince Harry revealed that Meghan reminds him off his Princess Diana. He explained that the similarities lie in the way she handles herself - as he feels they are both caring and compassionate.

There is then a video of what appears to be their son Archie looking at a photo of Princess Diana. The Duke of Sussex revealed that he was looking for someone willing and capable of taking all the baggage that came with dating and marrying into the royal family.

This was after all the exposure Princess Diana had to go through when marrying into the royal family. He went on to say that the level of media scrutiny his mom was under picked up a level after splitting from King Charles.
