Can you tell us more about your Nigerian project which also represents a low ARPU country?

We have been selected by the government in Nigeria as the solution provider for their STBs. Nigeria also is a country where the ARPU is low but we have been able to monetize their STBs. It is not just about putting up advertising. It can be used for video-on-demand, for information or competition. In Nigeria, we have enabled operators to get more value out the STBs. This is the starting point, then it is relatively easy to introduce video-on-demand and this what we have done in the UK. We have push VOD. A simple low cost STB can have a memory stick, USB or a hard disk drive and operators can start monetizing the box from advertising of information service and gradually go to the next step and introduce VOD service. However, it has to be done in a very subtle way and should not be too intrusive.

What about the uncertainty with the digital migration process in Nigeria? How are you dealing with this challenge?

One of the compelling things about digital TV is that it is the trend where everybody gains and, nobody loses when going a country goes digital. Digital TV generates the interest as well as wealth. There is no country on earth that does not want to go digital and derive the benefits from it. On the other hand, it is true that in some of these countries there will be challenges to overcome. However, we have the experience as we have been around for a long time, we have proved that we can rise to the challenges and that is why countries undertaking ASO favour Inview. To answer the question, we have overcome all uncertainties. What we have done at Inview is to make these challenges look easy.

Apart from Nigeria, how are Inview's activities going on the African continent?

We have very busy undertaking sales activities on the African continent. We are not only working with operators but also with governments. We are also very active in Asia and the Americas. As I said before, we are based in UK which was one of the earliest markets for digital television and through our work there we have developed crucial experience and we have now studied the market for a long time. We have proven platform, solution and engineering teams and also a track record of success throughout the world.
