The Australian SBS expands agreement with Dalet Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) profundiza su asociaci n con Dalet para expandir la orquestaci n y la colaboraci n de contenido en todas las plataformas de radio, televisi n y digitales.
El brodcasters australiano Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) ha ampliado su acuerdo con Dalet para expandir la plataforma de Media Asset Management (MAM) Dalet Galaxy as como su propuesta para orquestaci n. La nueva implementaci n facilitar la producci n y distribuci n de noticias, deportes, programas de radio en m ltiples idiomas y contenido musical a trav s de televisi n, radio y plataformas digitales de la emisora. El nuevo despliegue reforzar la capacidad de producci n de SBS antes de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2018.
Bas ndose en la exitosa integraci n de decenas de sistemas y la automatizaci n de varios flujos de trabajo de gesti n de programas en un entorno unificado Dalet Galaxy, la ampliaci n de la instalaci n abarcar ahora la producci n de noticias y deportes, as como la automatizaci n completa de la radio para los canales de m sica SBS. Esto proporcionar contenido de producci n a tres canales de televisi n, ocho canales de radio (m sica y talk show), el sitio web de SBS y aplicaciones online. La programaci n de la radio de SBS se produce en m s de 70 idiomas, convirti ndose as en el broadcaster m s diverso a nivel global desde el punto de vista idiom tico. Adem s de la Copa Mundial de F tbol de la FIFA 2018, la producci n de otros eventos deportivos que ser n facilitados por la nueva integraci n incluyen eventos de primera categor a como el Tour de Francia o la Premier inglesa.
Noel Leslie, director de tecnolog a de SBS, ha asegurado que despu s de la primera fase de nuestro movimiento estrat gico para optimizar nuestro contenido de programaci n bajo la gesti n de una sola plataforma de MAM, nos embarcamos en la fase dos con plena confianza en nuestra asociaci n con Dalet. Los equipos de SBS y Dalet han colaborado en la puesta en marcha del software y la integraci n del sistema para este proyecto. La gesti n del cambio es tambi n extremadamente importante para nosotros en SBS, y hemos hecho que sea fundamental para nuestra estrategia de involucrar a los principales interesados a lo largo de la cadena ya trav s de nuestra operaci n geogr ficamente extendida desde el inicio del proceso .
El sistema se desplegar en cuatro sitios, incluyendo la sede de SBS en Sydney, el centro de producci n de Melbourne, un tercer sistema en Canberra y la sede para recuperaci n de desastres ubicada en Sydney.
Espec ficamente, Dalet unificar la preparaci n del contenido, la producci n y la ingesta en dos estudios de televisi n y ocho estudios de radio en Sydney y otros ocho estudios de radio en Melbourne, reuniendo a hasta 300 usuarios simult neos que trabajan con el sistema. La ingesta de video para 50 canales distribuidos por todo el pa s, junto con m ltiples canales de ingesta de audio, se gestionar centralmente bajo el control de Dalet. La plataforma de procesamiento de medios Dalet AmberFin ayudar con la transcodificaci n seg n sea necesario.
Dalet On-the-Go tambi n estar disponible para conectar a los periodistas en el campo directamente a la plataforma central de Dalet Galaxy. Dalet OneCut proporciona edici n de escritorio y edici n remota en los estudios de Canberra. Las API abiertas de Dalet Galaxy se utilizan para una variedad de interfaces con terceros, incluyendo el sistema de programaci n de m sica Power Gold y Adobe Premiere Pro CC para la edici n en los tres centros de producci n y los canales de datos de Opta Sports. Las integraciones con Dell EMC Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS) proporcionan a los equipos de SBS una interfaz de usuario nica para acceder y administrar f cilmente el contenido. Otras integraciones facilitadas por Dalet incluyen Ross Overdrive en el estudio de producci n automatizado de SBS, Ross Expression para gr ficos y el sistema de gesti n de contenido Drupal.
