3rd November 2017 - Ottawa - For Immediate Release Ross Video will be attending the SATIS Expo in Paris (8th & 9th November, Docks de Paris) with a range of solutions designed to demonstrate how broadcasters can create great-looking productions using less hardware that consumes less power, takes up less space and costs less money. Building on the 2017 theme of Smart Production, SATIS will see Ross focusing on production efficiency and the need for content producers to be more agile. When Ross introduced the Ultrix routing platform recently it immediately redefined what a portable production unit (PPU) or flyaway kit would look like , notes Oscar Juste, Director of Sales for Ross EMEA. We see live and sports content producers needing to move production hardware around quickly and efficiently, and a compact 2RU product like Ultrix can replace 2 whole racks of gear. That means savings on time, freight, energy and money .
As well as demonstrating Ultrix, Ross Video will be focusing on its latest integrated production system: Graphite. A compact and yet incredibly powerful solution, Graphite contains a real Carbonite switcher and XPression graphics coupled with the new Rave audio mixer. Unlike other all-in-one solutions Graphite also provides rock solid reliability by placing all of the key processing components on dedicated internal hardware; you can keep working even if your computer reboots! Graphite is an excellent solution for those working in smaller or more budget-conscious production environments because it offers big product features at a very attractive price.
In addition to Ultrix and Graphite, the Ross Video team will be highlighting the simplification of news and live workflows through the use of products like Inception - the company's social media management platform - and the Abekas range of replay servers and profanity delay systems. 2017 has been one of our most successful years in the French market, and we head towards SATIS with over 30% annual growth across the EMEA region.
