The first self-driving paport born in Ningbo

The first self-driving passport was born in Ningbo on November 28, which will be issued to the self-driving tourists since Nov.8. From now on, self-driving tourists with such a passport can enjoy preferential services offered by travel services in the province.

The self-driving passport, monitored by Zhejiang Provincial Association of Self-driving Tourism, is issued by Ningbo Self-driving Travel Association. The outlook and the overall design of the passport is similar to the universal passport in the world. It can either serve as self-driving pass paper or valid paper for various preferential services. The self-driving passport can be used in the whole province, enjoying preferential services offered by a thousand major tourist attractions, hotels, home stays, villages, touristsshopping centers, as well as other services like car insurance and emergency aid.

The passport is featured by its time-saving, money-saying and trouble-saving. Its highlight, however, is its access to discounts. For instance, as long as one car has such a passport, at most 5 other tourists can have the same discount too. About one thousand tourism service providers will often 20% to 50% discount. And tourists can also enjoy car insurance discount, free aid and free consultation. Take Cicheng for example, the regular ticket fee is 75 per capita; 5 persons will cost 37 5yuan; but if you show your self-driving passport, you can enjoy 30% discount, saving 112.5 yuan. Other consumptions like boarding, restaurant and shopping considered, you will save more money. Whats more, the passport can also have ETC function (Electronic Toll Collection for highway).

The application for the self-driving passport is not so difficult. Self-driving tourists, over 18 and having driving license and agreeing with the passport use agreement, can apply for the passport by registering the real name.
