G tersloh, Germany - The HUB / Big.Data-AI Summit in Berlin is considered a top event for Artificial Intelligence. More than 10,000 participants are expected at the Berlin event location Station on April 1 and 2, 2020. Arvato Systems will be presenting its extensive AI know-how in various ways - from use cases at the exhibition stand to workshops. One of the highlights: The technical lecture Ready for operation mode? How to empower real business value with AI services.
When thinking about the use of Artificial Intelligence in companies, it is often a question of embedding appropriate solutions in already existing IT landscapes. This implementation of AI services in existing structures, however, always means a real challenge: While a proof-of-concept can be developed in a few days based on an analysis of the technical and functional actual situation, the transfer of the developed concept into productive operation proves to be extremely complex in many cases. This is why many AI initiatives fail when it comes to switching to operational mode. But exactly this step is necessary to create real business value.
Niels Pothmann, Head of AI at Arvato Systems, and Dr. Theresa Stocks, who works as a data scientist in the Arvato Systems AI Team, will address precisely this challenge in a joint presentation at the Big.Data-AI Summit on April 1 and 2 in Berlin.
At Europes leading conference on the practical application of Smart Data and Artificial Intelligence in business, the two Arvato Systems experts will discuss the key success factors that help transform AI projects into value-added productive operations. The speakers will draw on their extensive experience from successfully implemented AI projects, provide valuable advice and illustrate their explanations with concrete examples and implemented use cases.
In his function as head of the AI department at Arvato Systems, Niels Pothmann is currently building up the AI competence cluster of Arvato Systems and is responsible for the development and implementation of customer-specific AI & data solutions. Dr. Theresa Stocks is a data scientist in the Arvato Systems AI team and develops state-of-the-art machine learning solutions for various industries. She has experience in the areas of prediction, simulation-based inference methods and natural language processing (NLP).
At the companys booth at the Big.Data-AI Summit other experts from the Arvato Systems AI Team will also be focusing on the presentation of use cases that have already been implemented for customers. Under the motto Smartify your Business. Now., concrete examples will show that Artificial Intelligence is already an extremely useful tool that can support the business success of companies in almost all industries.
