New Two-Way Driver Simplifies Temperature Control

SHAKOPEE, Minn. - Sept. 27, 2017 - RTI, a leading control and automation manufacturer for residential and commercial settings, today announced the availability of its two-way driver for the full portfolio of thermostats and room sensors from ecobee. RTIs new driver makes it easy for integrators to program ecobee smart Wi-Fi and voice-enabled devices into its control and automation systems, ultimately simplifying the way customers manage their HVAC functions and energy use within the RTI ecosystem.

The thermostat lineup includes the new Amazon Alexa Voice Service-enabled ecobee4, ecobee3lite, and ecobee3, which all allow users to adjust the temperature of their environments, access and monitor their energy use, and check alerts and reminders. With the new ecobee two-way driver, users can now control and manage ecobees HVAC capabilities from the convenience of their RTI control interfaces via the ecobee cloud service.
