Registrations open for the 2nd Latin American Broadcasting Business Forum
On August 25 and 26, media professionals will have an opportunity to discuss the future direction of the industry during SET EXPO
Registrations for participating in the 2nd Latin American Broadcasting Business Forum, to be held on August 25 and 26, are now open. Please go to www.setexpo.com.br. The event is organized by SET and the Asociaci n Internacional de Radiodifusi n (A.I.R.), with the support of the Brazilian Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters (ABERT) and the Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters of the State of S o Paulo (AESP). The Forum will be held within SET EXPO, the largest broadcast and new media business and technology event in Latin America. This year SET EXPO will run from August 23 to 27, in S o Paulo, Brazil.
The Forum offers an in-depth discussion, an excellent opportunity for executives, specialists and professionals from all over Latin America to exchange ideas , said Claudio Younis, Marketing Director of SET. This edition of the Forum will address issues such as the switching off of Brazilian analogic television, the challenges facing radio in an environment of convergence, the future of open television, broadcasting in an environment of mobile devices, the international outlook for radio and the restrictions on advertising in the means of communication. The rapid development of the contemporary world means that media executives and professionals must remain alert and up to date. At the 2nd Latin America Broadcasting Business Forum, executives from the major radio and television broadcasters in Latin America, along with specialists, will have an excellent opportunity to discuss the political and economic challenges facing the industry.

Entry to the trade fair is free for industry professionals, in addition to researchers, teachers and students of engineering, communication and the like.
