Meryl McLaren has been appointed director, Media Services and Facilities at Gravity Media, and has been tasked with overseeing the company's post production and broadcast rental offering within the EMEA region.

McLaren joins Gravity from BBC Studioworks, where she was most recently the company's commercial manager.

Gravity Media's managing director for EMEA, Ed Tischler, said: Meryl is very well known and respected within the broadcast media industry and is the ideal candidate to further establish us as a world class partner to clients within the post production and entertainment markets. Working across the business, Meryl will foster collaboration, innovation, development and creativity within our teams, and will be a real asset going forward.
