Gracias a una eficaz gesti n y a su capacidad de anticipaci n al cambio, Atresmedia, donde se incorpor en 2003 como consejero delegado, ha alcanzado grandes hitos empresariales, entre los que destacan la salida a Bolsa de la compa a en abril del a o 2003 y haberse convertido en punta de lanza de la industria audiovisual espa ola y en uno de los grupos de comunicaci n m s rentables de Europa.
Estoy muy orgulloso de haber cooperado a construir la gran compa a que es Atresmedia. Y quiero agradecer su trabajo a cada una de las personas y equipos con los que he colaborado durante estos a os. Juntos hemos contribuido al crecimiento y consolidaci n de la industria audiovisual de este pa s. Ha sido un honor contar con el apoyo del Consejo y de los accionistas de la Compa a y, especialmente, de Jos Creuheras, Marco Drago y Silvio Gonz lez. Quiero tener unas palabras de recuerdo para Jos Manuel Lara con qui n comenc mi andadura profesional en Atresmedia , ha se alado Maurizio Carlotti.

Maurizio Carlotti es uno de los grandes profesionales con los que he tenido la fortuna de trabajar. Un experto en el negocio, respetado por todo el sector por su profundo conocimiento de toda la cadena de valor. Durante estos 16 a os he aprendido mucho de l y con su trabajo se inici una senda de eficiencia y rentabilidad que ha llevado a Atresmedia a liderar el sector audiovisual , ha afirmado Silvio Gonz lez, consejero delegado de la compa a.
La retirada de Maurizio Carlotti ser sometida a aprobaci n por la Junta de Accionistas de Atresmedia que se celebrar el pr ximo mes de abril.
Una larga y prestigiosa trayectoria Nacido en Venecia en 1953, inici su trayectoria profesional en 1979 como director general de televisi n local Televenezia. M s tarde, pas a ocupar diversos cargos directivos en compa as dedicadas al negocio publicitario hasta su incorporaci n en 1986 a Publitalia, compa a del grupo Fininvest, en la que desempe el cargo de Vicedirector General, con responsabilidad en las reas de Marketing y Ventas.
En 1994 se incorpor al grupo Telecinco (Mediaset) donde ocup los puestos de consejero delegado de Publiespa a, director general de Telecinco y consejero delegado del grupo, cargo que desempe hasta 1998, a o en el que vuelve a Italia como consejero delegado de Mediaset Italia, con responsabilidad en el rea de Media y Contenidos hasta su incorporaci n en el a o 2000 al grupo De Agostini.
En junio de 2003, fue nombrado consejero delegado de Atresmedia Corporaci n tras la entrada en el accionariado de Planeta De Agostini. Hasta la fecha y desde julio de 2008, ocupaba el cargo de vicepresidente de Atresmedia Corporaci n.
