Satmission Integrates TVU Networks Cellular ENG Video Solutions Into Its New IP Vehicle for Live Broadcast Production

At the IBC Show, Satmission, a global supplier of live broadcast and satellite communication products and services based in Sweden, will debut a new solution integration with TVU Networks the global technology and innovation leader in live IP video solutions based in Mountain View, California USA. Satmission is one of Europes leading designers and manufacturers of mobile satellite communication systems, and will showcase TVU Networks product integration in its IP vehicle throughout IBC. The IBC show runs from September 15-19 at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre, where Satmission will exhibit in Hall 5, Stand A19. TVU will showcase its complete line of IP video solutions in Hall 2, Stand B28.

The Satmission Live Now IP Vehicle Kit turns a car or other motor vehicle into a cost-effective mobile live broadcast production unit. Satmission is integrating its Live Now IP Vehicle with TVU Networks award-winning TVU One mobile IP transmitter, TVU MLink live video uplink transmitter, and TVU Router - which delivers Internet connectivity remotely. All three TVU solutions incorporate the companys proprietary Inverse StatMux (IS+) Plus technology. The technology provides dependable high quality live video from the field to the studio even in unreliable and poor cellular coverage environments by aggregating multiple cellular, WiFi, Satellite, Microwave and BGAN connections for data transmission. By incorporating TVU, Satmission is able to increase ENG broadcast flexibility by providing cellular transmission capabilities as either a primary or back up live video broadcast option.
