Hit US drama Elsbeth and highly anticipated series Matlock come to Sky in 2024Tuesday 9 July 2024

Headlined by Acclaimed Actresses Carrie Preston and Kathy Bates, Both Series are Produced by CBS Studios and Distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution

Two US dramas are coming to UK audiences this year, with Elsbeth, US network CBS' second most-watched new series of the 23-24 season, and Matlock, inspired by the classic television series of the same name, joining an unmissable line up of programming coming to Sky and streaming service NOW in 2024.

Elsbeth - which currently holds a 94% Rotten Tomatoes rating - stars Emmy Award winner Carrie Preston as Elsbeth Tascioni, an astute but unconventional attorney who utilises her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD. Viewers will recognise the character from the hit series The Good Wife and The Good Fight, with the new show following Elsbeth as she tackles a new investigative role in New York City. The series also stars Wendell Pierce known for his roles in shows such as Suits and The Wire and Carra Patterson who can be seen in the film Rustin.

Also coming to Sky Witness and NOW in 2024 is Matlock, starring Emmy and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates as the titular character. The series follows the brilliant septuagenarian Madeline Matty Matlock, who, after achieving success in her younger years, decides to rejoin the workforce at a prestigious law firm where she uses her unassuming demeanour and wily tactics to win cases. The series also stars Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, David Del Rio and Leah Lewis.

Elsbeth will be airing weekly from 23 July on Sky Witness and streaming service NOW, with Matlock coming later this year.

Matty is assigned to Olympia (Skye P.
