E.tv's fashion drama - House of Zwide, Mzansi Magic's telenovela DiepCity, and SABC'S Afrikaans soapie 7de Laan have lost thousands of viewers in the past four months.

The shows have lost their signature positions in their respective channels due to poor storylines, the introduction of new characters, and more.

-- DIEPCITY' IN TROUBLE? Mzansi Magic's latest telenovela - DiepCity has lost over 100k fans over the past four months.

Viewers are losing interest in the show and have taken to social media to complain about the show's storylines.
The show also competes with SABC1's most-watched soapie - Uzalo which also airs at 20:30.
Fans were excited when the show replaced Isibaya in 2021 as its cast includes some of Mzansi's most-talented stars such as the award-winning actress Dawn Thandeka King, Giyani: Land of Blood actor Obed Baloyi and the award-winning actors Mduduzi Mabaso and Hamilton Dlamini.

7DE LAAN' LOSES ITS THIRD POSITION SABC2's Afrikaans soapie - 7de Laan has lost its signature third position on the channel.
The long-running soapie which usually pulls in an average of 1million viewers has been losing viewers since November last year (2021).
The show has introduced a new family - The Vigasies and introduced a new gay character after killing its fan-favourite character Shawn Basson.
Viewers also saw an introduction of Umkhokha actress Linda Sokhulu who plays the role of Dr Tumi and finally revealed its most popular background character - Evelina after 22 years.

HOUSE OF ZWIDE' LOSES ITS SPARK Rhythm City's replacement and e.tv's fashion drama House of Zwide has lost its signature second spot on the channel.
The show used to pull in an average of 4million viewers and was second place after Scandal! lost more than 400k viewers between October 2021 and January 2022.
The show which is produced by Bomb Productions which used to produce Mzansi Magic's canned telenovela - Isibaya has exhausted fans with its dragged storylines.
