Actress Kea Leburu, who's known for playing Bontle in Skeem Saam says she's lost two bags worth R30 000 because of thieves.

KEA LEBURU: WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BAGS' Known by Skeem Saam fans as the cheeky waitress Bontle, the popular actress Kea Leburu told Daily Sun that her bags were stolen from the boot of her car in December.
A friend and I were buying pies at a garage in Randfontein and when we came back, our bags were missing. They were in the boot. We don't know what happened to those bags to this day. We still don't know how they got lost, said Leburu.

Leburu adds that the police haven't been much help and the issue hasn't been resolved as the video from the garage doesn't play.
We just left things unattended because no one was saying anything. Even the cops didn't get back to us.
We went to the garage to request that the owner show us footage and he said we must come with the cop and they would give it to us. We did that and we were given a memory stick. However, when I tried playing it on my laptop and the TV, it didn't play.
Gauteng police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo revealed to Daily Sun that a case has been opened.
A case of theft out of a motor vehicle was opened at Randfontein Police Station. An investigation is underway and no arrests have been made yet.

BONTLE STORYLINE IN SKEEM SAAM' Skeem Saam actress Kea Leburu's character Bontle made headlines in 2022 when she slept' with her boyfriend's (JazzT) best friend Leeto Maputla (Eric Macheru).
Bontle and Leeto woke up in his bed from his divorce party, after divorcing his wife Mokgadi (Pebetsi Nolo Matlaila).
JazzT (Mpho Molepo) was heartbroken even after the pair explained that they passed out. The trio made up and Bontle currently works as a waitress at Leeto's new club called Bazaruto.
