Playing a villain is emotionally taxing': Skeem Saam's' Mbali MavimbelaThe 24-year-old actress says, playing Nothile is strenuous because she's always smiling and calm.

Actress Mbalenhle Mavimbela, who plays the role of Nothile says playing the character on the educational soapie Skeem Saam, hasn't been hard for her.

She says she enjoys stepping into the character's shoes because just like her character, she always stands up for herself and speaks her mind.

Mavimbela also told Daily Sun that playing a villain is emotionally taxing especially with her Skeem Saam character, who isn't an obvious villain.

She is always smiling and calm, so that takes a toll.

The KwaZulu-Natal-born actress says viewers will be blown away by her character in the next few days.

NOTHILE'S STORYLINE Nothile moved into Lehasa's (Cedri Fourie) apartment after the pair fell in love in an elevator.

The pair have no idea that their relationship is headed for a huge challenge this week.

Lehasa's ex-girlfriend, Pretty Seakamela just found out she is pregnant.

Viewers will see Pretty (Lerato Marabe) contacting Lehasa about the baby this week.

Lehasa will deny being the baby's father as he's in love with Nothile.

He is also not sure if Pretty is telling the truth as Pretty cheated on Katlego with him.

LOSING A GIG' She also told the People's Paper that she went through a traumatic experience after e.tv's drama series Izipho, got cancelled as she thought that it would be her breakout role.

I went through a lot after the show ended because I left home and moved to Johannesburg.

The actress stated that the ending of the show was a rude awakening that anything could happen, and that her job is not guaranteed.
