IP Showcase Channel at 2020 NAB Show New York is Live since yesterday posted: 24/10/2020
The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) is live today at the 2020 NAB Show New York with its own IP Showcase channel. The IP Showcase channel gives attendees a unique opportunity to take in instructional and case-study presentations from industry-leading vendors and broadcasters. A series of 35-minute presentations and discussions will focus on the broadcast industrys move to standards-based IP infrastructure for real-time professional media applications.
All content will be posted for on-demand viewing and available for 30 days.

AIMS will also take part in Marketplace Live Chats throughout the show. Attendees will have the chance to interact in real time with AIMS representatives, access videos on achieving standards-based interoperability, and download material outlining the AIMS roadmap.

The IP Showcase is committed to educating attendees at major industry events on the business and creative potential of IP media solutions. The ongoing focus is on market requirements as media operations move toward all-IP connectivity and content delivery to multiscreen platforms. The evolving SMPTE ST 2110 standards and the AMWA NMOS technology stack are improving media workflows for large and small deployments alike. Now that the transport layer is well established, the focus is on the next step - easing deployment for end users.
