Les Stroud dives deep and puts his reputation on the line to either prove or disprove the existence of a species of man-like primate thought to have become extinct after the last Ice Age: the elusive and mythical Gigantopithecus (e.g., Sasquatch and Bigfoot). In this episode, Les travels from forest to forest across North America to begin his search for Sasquatch by returning to a legendary Bigfoot hotspot in the Canadian wild. By adopting a brand-new approach and drawing on past experiences, he hopes to discover a logical explanation for the mystery of Bigfoot.
