Atresmedia acaba de incorporarse a Media Corporate Social Responsibility Forum (Media CSR Forum), lo que le convierte en el primer grupo de comunicaci n espa ol que forma parte de este foro integrado por algunas de las mayores compa as de comunicaci n internacionales -Aegis Media, The BBC, BSkyB, Channel 4, Guardian Media Group, Hibu, Informa, IPC Media, ITV, Modern Times Group, News International, Pearson, Random House, Reed Elsevier, TF1 Group, Trinity Mirror, Turner Broadcasting, United Business Media and Virgin Media- y especializado en la Responsabilidad Corporativa (RC) del sector de medios de comunicaci n.
Creado en 2001 para dar respuesta a las caracter sticas espec ficas del sector de medios de comunicaci n en materia de Responsabilidad Corporativa, Media CSR Forum tiene como principales objetivos estudiar las implicaciones de la RC en los medios de comunicaci n, compartir buenas pr cticas entre empresas del sector, desarrollar investigaciones espec ficas sobre RC y medios de comunicaci n, emprender proyectos de colaboraci n conjuntos, etc tera.
Recientemente, el Foro ha lanzado dos informes sobre RC y medios: Does it matter? , dedicado a analizar los asuntos materiales ESG (economic, social and governance) para el sector de medios de comunicaci n y Mirrors or Movers: Framing the debate about the impact of media content , sobre el papel de los medios de comunicaci n en la sociedad y el impacto que tienen los contenidos que generan.
El foro, que se re ne peri dicamente el Londres, celebrar su pr ximo encuentro el 16 de octubre en el centro de producci n de ITV, al que ya asistir Atresmedia como nuevo miembro integrante.
La incorporaci n de Atresmedia a Media CSR Forum supone un paso m s en su firme compromiso por la Responsabilidad Corporativa, materia que ha intensificado en los ltimos a os hasta integrar los valores ticos y de responsabilidad en todas y cada una de las actividades del Grupo. As , el Grupo trabaja para poner al servicio de la sociedad la capacidad de difusi n de sus medios de comunicaci n apoyando diferentes campa as y entidades (Banco de Alimentos, Cruz Roja, Aldeas Infantiles, WWF Adena, Greenpeace ) que contribuyen a ayudar a resolver los problemas que preocupan a la sociedad.
Adem s, desarrolla sus propios proyectos de responsabilidad corporativa como Ponle freno, El estir n y Hazte Eco, que buscan resultados tangibles en la sociedad.
Por su parte, la Fundaci n Atresmedia canaliza gran parte de la acci n social de la compa a y desarrolla proyectos para colectivos tan vulnerables como la infancia, la juventud o las personas con discapacidad, a trav s de proyectos que favorezcan su escucha y participaci n.
Tambi n mediante el Voluntariado Corporativo, el Grupo pone a disposici n de asociaciones y ONG que trabajan con diferentes colectivos y en diversas problem ticas sociales el potencial y las habilidades profesionales de los empleados de la compa a.
