Lawo releases platform for routing based on software V Matrix The new ecosystem allows you to transform the hardware for different functions according to each need via software.

Lawo German manufacturer has just released its new platform V Matrix NAB 2016. This solution designed broadcasters and operators of audiovisual services is a platform for routing and processing to adapt with a software update for any need.

V Matrix will be sonre a scalable chassis of 1U, 2U or 3U, with different generic processing blades connected s a COTS switch of high capacity with 10GE and 40GE redundant connections to form a matrix of processing and routing based on IP. The system also has connections for SDI as an option, with the control of VSM Broadcast Control and Monitoring software.

In this way, the system allows a routing and switching of signals both in the field of IP such as SDI and includes the Lawo SDN for routing of extremely precise video level frame.
