Rosco To Preview Latest Addition To Its LED Lighting Systems at NAB 06

Rosco Laboratories, a global leader in lighting and color technologies for the film, television, entertainment and architecture industries, will preview the Silk 110 soft light LED luminaire at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas, April 16-21, 2016 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Developed by Rosco's Product Development Manager for Broadcast Lighting Solutions, David Amphlett, Silk 110 offers a unique combination of precise color quality and powerful output in an efficient, ergonomic form factor.

We are excited to add Silk 110 to Rosco's already popular Silk series of LED luminaires , said Amphlett. With the success of our Silk 210 product, Silk 110 was a natural next step in building a robust system of LED products, whether in a broadcast, feature film, or on-location situation.

Rosco has been committed to the shaping, filtering, and coloring of light for over 100 years, and Silk 110 is yet another key addition to the comprehensive lighting systems the company offers. The lightweight Silk 110 features broad-spectrum daylight and tungsten balanced LEDs and is tunable from 2800K-6500K. Independent tests have measured the color quality of Silk 110 at a TLCI rating of 97, and a CRI of 98 at 3200K, resulting in beautiful skin tones and vibrant scenic elements on-camera. The portable and versatile fixture operates under mains power and is also compatible with Anton/Bauer or V-Lock batteries.

9.25 pounds with 15.9 x 15.5 x 3.9 dimensions for easy staging and portability

High volume of output (1700 lux @ 1m @ 5600K)

Color-correct, attractive, soft light

Silk 110 will be available for preview at Rosco's booth at the National Association of Broadcasters show, Booth C5643, April 16-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A consumer launch is planned for late Spring 2016.
