Christie installs the first Cape Verde digital cinema projector La portuguesa Edecine equipa con un CP2210 la primera sala de cine 3D del pa s africano.
El Cine Praia de Cabo Verde se ha convertido en la primera sala digitalizada del pa s al instalar un proyector CP2210 de Christie.
Con esta instalaci n, el pa s africano situado en el oc ano Atl ntico frente a las costas senegalesas cuenta ahora con el primer cine digital 3D del pa s. El mismo est ubicado en el flamante Shopping Praia de la ciudad del mismo nombre, capital del pa s. El partner de Christie Edecine, con sede en Lisboa (Portugal) ha sido el responsable de llevar a cabo la instalaci n completa de esta sala.
Onivalda Pires, gerente de Cine Praia, reconoce que la escasez permanente del 35 mm en Portugal, donde obtenemos las pel culas, hizo que decidi ramos instalar un proyector de cine digital. Y optamos por Christie porque despu s de haber hecho un estudio nos convencimos de que era la mejor marca de proyectores de cine digital del mercado .
El Cine Praia tiene una capacidad para 110 espectadores y cuenta con una pantalla de 7 3 metros. El Christie CP2210 instalado es un proyector con tecnolog a DLP Cinema de 12.000 l menes ANSI y resoluci n 2K para pantallas de hasta 13,7 metros. Est listo para 3D y para pel culas HFR, y es el proyector de cine digital m s compacto del mundo.
Jos M. Charneca, director de Edecine, sostiene que se trata de un excelente equipo para salas peque as y cuenta con la incomparable luminosidad, definici n e imagen a los que Christie nos tiene acostumbrados .

La gerente de Cine Praia tambi n est encantada con el trabajo realizado por Edecine: la instalaci n march sobre ruedas, dentro del calendario previsto, y contamos con el soporte continuo de Edecine, que nos hace sentir seguros a pesar de estar a m s de 3.000 kil metros .
En ese sentido, las nuevas tecnolog as permiten a Edecine monitorear regularmente desde Lisboa la correcta operaci n de todo el sistema de Cine Praia a trav s de la red y realizar las actualizaciones necesarias.
El cine est equipado con el sistema 3D de gafas activas de Eyes3Shut. Adem s de proyectar los ltimos estrenos, Cine Praia tiene previsto comenzar a emitir pr ximamente contenidos alternativos en HD, como conciertos y partidos de f tbol.
