Soapville has finally found former child star Siyamthanda Moyo who played the role of two-year-old child actor baby Christina Dhlomo on Generations.

This is after tweeps previously speculated that former The Queen actress Ntando Duma was the actress who played the role seven years ago.

THE REAL BABY CHRISTINA SPEAKS OUT Baby Christina's father was played by legendary actor Menzi Ngubane (Sibusiso Dhlomo) who recently passed away in March (2021) at the age of 56 after suffering a stroke.

Her on-screen mother was played by DiepCity actress, Sonia Mbele who played the role of Ntombi Dhlomo.

Moyo was the youngest cast member to get fired by the creator of Generations and Generations: The Legacy, Mfundi Vundla along with her on-screen parents and 14 other actors in 2014.

The now-former child star is all grown up and barely recognisable from the chubby-faced toddler that South Africans remember.

She has shared a video on Instagram where she states that she played the role of baby Christina.

Her video has now rubbished rumours that actress and media personality Ntando Duma ever played the character.

-- FIRED ACTORS The cast members were dismissed on 18 August 2014, after going on a strike to demand higher wages and royalties.

The strike caused the soapie to go on a two-month break while new episodes were filmed with a brand new cast and a brand new show titled, Generations: The Legacy.

Generations and Generations: The Legacy creator, Mfundi Vundla stated that he would not consider taking them back despite the actors issuing a letter stating that they wanted to return to work.
