CESSON-SEVIGNE, France - March 28, 2023 - Broadpeak , a leading provider of content delivery network (CDN) and video streaming solutions for content providers and pay-TV operators worldwide, announced today that GTPL Hathway Limited (GTPL), the largest Multi-Service Operator (MSO) in India, has deployed a comprehensive video streaming solution from Broadpeak for OTT delivery. Using Broadpeak's video delivery solutions, GTPL can provide interactive video streaming services, including live, catch-up TV, and VOD, to millions of subscribers with an outstanding quality of service, reduced costs, and increased efficiency.

We serve approximately 11 million cable TV households in more than 1400 cities across 22 key states in India, said Mr. Aniruddhsinh Jadeja, Managing Director at GTPL. Finding an opex-friendly solution for high-quality video streaming was imperative, and Broadpeak met all of our requirements, providing us with an entire streaming suite including CDN, Origin Packager, cache servers, analytics, monitoring, and managed services. With Broadpeak's video streaming solutions, we can easily identify data patterns and predict end-user behaviors to enable capacity planning and to improve our subscribers' quality of experience (QoE) and service.
GTPL is using Broadpeak's BkM100 Video Delivery Mediator, BkS350 Origin Packager, BkS400 Video Streamer, BkA100 Video Delivery Analytics, and BkA200 Video Delivery Monitoring to deliver OTT services to subscribers' mobile and Android TV devices.
The BkM100 Video Delivery Mediator empowers GTPL to continuously monitor the popularity of content based on usage patterns and deliver popular content from the most appropriate BkS400 video streamer to reduce costs. Broadpeak's BkS350 combines a just-in-time packaging feature and a built-in cache mechanism, reducing the need for encoding and storage resources and providing GTPL with a high throughput capacity that generates significant cost savings. With Broadpeak's Video Delivery Analytics and Monitoring solutions, GTPL can control QoS along the video delivery chain and guarantee an exceptional QoE for audiences.
