Ovyo Ltd, a leader in custom OTT & media software services and project delivery, is excited to announce its strategic merger with Portuguese technology services firm, The Loop Co. This merger combines Ovyo's expertise in delivering software projects to the video, telecoms, and satellite industries from India, South Africa, the US and the UK with The Loop Co.'s nearshore service capabilities and deep cross-industry technical expertise including cloud software engineering and embedded systems.
Together, the two companies will offer an industry-leading service portfolio for OTT streamers, broadcasters, operators, industry vendors, and media businesses.
Ovyo is known for its speed and reactiveness in spinning up new project teams and getting customers rapid access to niche industry skills. With this merger, Ovyo can now match this experience in Portugal with its current services in India and the UK. With greater access to specialized talent across the globe and the addition of deep cloud and data engineering specializations, this development marks a significant enhancement to Ovyo's well-established offshore software services.
Both Ovyo and The Loop Co. are fast-growing software services businesses which share a commitment to customer success and a culture of employee empowerment, making this merger a natural fit for both teams. The combined team of around 250 people supports an enhanced portfolio across Europe, North America and Asia.
By retaining all management personnel and project teams as part of the merger, not only is expertise retained but, most importantly, stability for customers is maximised.
