Stufenlose CVT-Automatik mit Schaeffler-Komponenten der Marke LuK erstmals in Kombination mit Boxer-Diesel-Motor bei SUBARU in Serie
Stufenloser Fahrkomfort mit LuK-CVT-Kette
CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), das bedeutet stufenlos fahren ohne Zugkraftunterbrechung. Und diese Idee begeistert die Automobilkonstrukteure und Kunden seit vielen Jahren. Neu auf dem Markt ist ab jetzt die stufenlose CVT-Automatik mit der Laschenkette von LuK in Kombination mit einem Boxer-Diesel im Subaru Outback 2.0D Lineartronic.
Die LuK GmbH & Co. KG, innerhalb der Schaeffler-Gruppe Spezialist f r Systeme und Komponenten f r den Fahrzeugantriebsstrang ist bereits seit zehn Jahren Ent-wicklungspartner von SUBARU. Gemeinsam hat man ein hocheffizientes Allrad-CVT entwickelt, das auf der New York International Autoshow 2009 unter dem Namen LineartronicTM Premiere feierte. Schon bei den ersten Entwicklungsstufen konnte der Ketten-Variator (siehe Infografik) bei kompakten Abmessungen und zugleich gro er Spreizung Motoren bis 400 Nm Drehmoment und 220 kW/300 PS Leistung zuverl ssig abdecken. Somit stand dem Einsatz mit hubraumst rkeren beziehungs-weise aufgeladenen Benzinmotoren und auch dem Boxer-Diesel-Triebwerk von SUBARU nichts mehr im Weg.
Von der Schaeffler-Marke LuK kommen die CVT-Kette sowie die Gleitschienen. Im Jahr 2013 werden am Produktionsstandort in B hl circa 1,2 Millionen CVT-Ketten f r drei verschiedene internationale Fahrzeughersteller und eine entsprechende Anzahl Gleitschienensets vom Band laufen. Mit unserer CVT-Gesamtsystem-Kompetenz haben wir in vielen Bereichen zum Gelingen des Projektes beigetragen , so Andreas Englisch, Leiter der Produktlinie CVT bei LuK in B hl. Zum umfangreichen Entwick-lungs- und Testprozedere geh ren zum Beispiel Package-Untersuchungen, Variator-Auslegungen, Dynamik-Simulationen sowie eine umfangreiche Funktions-, Akustik- und Lebensdauerprobung.
Seit der ersten Markteinf hrung im Hochdrehmomentbereich (1999) haben sich die herausragenden Eigenschaften der LuK-CVT-Komponenten in der Fachwelt herum-gesprochen: Neben der Eignung f r hohe Leistungen und Drehmomente bezie-hungsweise hoher Leistungsdichte bei kompakten Getriebeabmessungen steht auch der hohe Wirkungsgrad im Fokus. Dementsprechend ist die LuK-Laschenkette mittlerweile bei drei internationalen Fahrzeugherstellern in Europa und Asien im Gro serieneinsatz.
Die M rkte versprechen Wachstumspotenzial: In Europa weitgehend unbemerkt, stieg die weltweite CVT-Produktion kontinuierlich auf heute fast sieben Millionen Einheiten pro Jahr an, was 12,5 Prozent aller Fahrzeuge mit Automatikgetriebe ent-spricht. Dabei liegt der Schwerpunkt im asiatisch-pazifischen Raum, insbesondere in Japan, wo bereits 36 Prozent aller neuen Pkw mit CVT ausgestattet werden. Global betrachtet hat CVT einen Gesamtmarktanteil von neun Prozent. Wie diese Entwicklung weiter geht, h ngt von Faktoren wie lokalen Gegebenheiten und auch Vorlieben ab. Beim Automobilzulieferer Schaeffler ist man berzeugt, dass auch zuk nftig unterschiedliche Getriebekonzepte existieren werden, sich diese indes in ihren Eigenschaften einander ann hern werden.
Die weltweit steigenden Anforderungen in puncto Emissionen und Verbrauch spre-chen beraus f r den Einsatz eines CVT-Getriebes. Denn durch die stufenlose An-passung der bersetzung ohne Zugkraftunterbrechung kann der Motor stets im ver-brauchsg nstigsten Kennfeldbereich betrieben werden. Daraus ergeben sich Ver-brauchswerte auf dem Niveau von ideal bedienten Handschaltgetrieben. Schaeffler setzt weiter unter anderem auf modulare Produktstrategien, um ma geschneidert auf die unterschiedlichen Anforderungen in den verschiedenen M rkten der Welt zu reagieren. Das CVT ist zum Beispiel eine sehr komfortable L sung f r hohe Ver-kehrsdichten mit stark schwankenden Fahrgeschwindigkeiten, wie sie in Japan heute schon blich sind. Auch f r den NAFTA-Raum, wo das sanfte Anfahren nach wie vor ein wichtiges Argument f r den Kunden ist, kann das CVT punkten , erl utert Dr. Hartmut Faust, Leiter Entwicklung Unternehmensbereich Getriebesysteme bei Schaeffler.
Mit Komponenten der Schaeffler-Marke LuK k nnen maximale bersetzungssprei-zungen erm glicht werden. Diese sind damit auch eine ideale Erg nzung im um-fangreichen Schaeffler-Produktportfolio zur Realisierung des Downsizing- und Downspeedingtrend im Motorenbau. Ebenso lassen sich Hybridkonzepte mit CVT-Komponenten optimal kombinieren.
