
La 4K Summit 2017 abre inscripciones El evento, que pasa a celebrarse en M laga, ha conseguido ser el referente internacional de la tecnolog a y de los contenidos en la Ultra Alta Definici n (UHD), y en l participan ponentes, marcas y asistentes de m s de una veintena de pa ses.
The 4K Summit 2017, que se celebrar en M laga del 8 al 10 de noviembre, abre este jueves su plazo de inscripciones a los asistentes justo cien d as antes de su inauguraci n con importantes descuentos para los m s previsores ( early birds ).
La mayor novedad es que el evento se ampl a a tres d as con el fin de que los asistentes puedan asistir a m s conferencias, m s mesas redondas, m s horas de networking y para facilitar los horarios de visitas a la Demo Area, que estar situada junto a la zona de conferencias.
El evento, que comenz a celebrarse en 2015, ha conseguido ser el referente internacional de la tecnolog a y de los contenidos en la Ultra Alta Definici n (UHD), y en l participan ponentes, marcas y asistentes de m s de 20 pa ses que ya tienen reservada en su agenda la segunda semana de noviembre para acudir a Andaluc a a la 4KSummit.
En esta tercera edici n, la 4KSummit cuenta de nuevo con Movistar como uno de los patrocinadores principales, y el presidente de Telef nica Espa a, Luis Miguel Gilp rez, ya ha confirmado su participaci n en la sesi n inaugural.
Gilp rez, el gran impulsor del 4K dentro de Telef nica, ofrecer su visi n de lo que esta nueva tecnolog a va a suponer en los pr ximos a os para una de las telecos l deres a nivel mundial.
Pere Vila, director de Innovaci n, Tecnolog a y Sistemas de RTVE tambi n participar en esta nueva edici n. Internacionales como Stephan Heimbecher, Director de Innovaci n de Sky Alemania o Hans Hoffmann, Responsable del departamento de Fundamentos y Producci n Tecnol gica de la EBU, son algunos de los prestigiosos ponentes que participar n en la 4K SUMMIT 2017.
Entre los patrocinadores de la 4KSummit figuran tambi n grandes multinacionales tecnol gicas como Samsung, Eutelsat, Sony, Dolby, Nokia, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Ericsson, Ateme, Akamai, Rohde&Schwartz, etc.
En las pr ximas semanas cerraremos acuerdos con otras multinacionales que ya nos han manifestado, especialmente tras reunirnos con ellos en el NAB en Las Vegas, su inter s en participar en la tercera edici n de la 4KSummit , asegura Ricardo Medina, CEO de Medina Media.

Apoyo institucional
Entre el apoyo institucional, cabe destacar a Extenda, la Agencia Andaluza de Promoci n Exterior, que colabora invitando a speakers de reconocido prestigio internacional para que ayuden a las empresas de Andaluc a a conocer mejor las reglas del mercado para abrirse camino internacionalmente.
Este convenio con Extenda, por ejemplo, permiti en la edici n de 2016 traer a Andaluc a a prestigiosos expertos de la Ultra Alta Definici n (UHD) a nivel mundial, como Hans Hoffmann (ingeniero jefe de la EBU-UER), y Josh Stinehour (de la consultora norteamerica Devoncroft Partners).
Medina Media, la organizadora del evento, lleg en marzo a un acuerdo con ProM laga para celebrar en la capital de la Costa del Sol la tercera edici n de este foro internacional. Como parte del acuerdo, el Polo de Contenidos Digitales de M laga pas a patrocinar como impulsor la 4KSummit, cuyas dos primeras ediciones se celebraron en Sevilla.
El acuerdo se enmarca dentro del compromiso de la empresa municipal ProM laga de convertir a la capital de la Costa del Sol en la ciudad referente de las Nuevas Tecnolog as en el Sur de Europa.
El Polo de Contenidos Digitales, que se inaugur hace apenas 2 meses, ya alberg el 19 y 20 de julio la primera edici n del Observatorio de Realidad Virtual, tambi n organizado por Medina Media.
La agenda de la 4KSummit se ir desgranando en las pr ximas semanas. Todas las conferencias son en ingl s, pero este a o la organizaci n facilitar un servicio de traducci n simult nea para los asistentes.
