ProSiebenSat.1 Extends Content Licensing Agreement with CBS Studios International
Munich, October 6, 2014. ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG will continue its long-time cooperation with CBS Studios International: The Group has extended the existing content licensing agreement, thus securing the exclusive TV rights to high-quality series that CBS will produce in the years to come, including for example the NCIS spin off NCIS: New Orleans. The broadcasting rights apply to the ProSiebenSat.1 stations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As well as the exclusive free TV rights, the agreement also covers selected pay TV licenses.
Besides NCIS, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group already holds the exclusive rights to hit CBS series like Elementary and Under the Dome. The contract with CBS also includes the new US science-fiction event series Extant from Steven Spielbergs Amblin Television. The series starring Academy Award winner Halle Berry successfully aired on CBS this summer.

ProSiebenSat.1 has successfully cooperated with CBS Studios International for more than 15 years. NCIS is one of the Groups stations series generating the highest ratings.
The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has long-term agreements with nearly all major Hollywood studios as well as numerous important production and film companies. In addition to CBS, its partners include among others Warner Brothers, Paramount, Sony Pictures International, Twentieth Century Fox, Studiocanal, Constantin Film and Tobis Film.
