Ayanda Borotho has reportedly joined the fan-favourite SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy, as per entertainment commentator Kgopolo Phil Mphela on Twitter.

Phil said the former Isibaya actress will only be part of the cast for a few months.

WILL AYANDA PLAY NKOSIYABO'S WIFE? Viewers of the soapie have thrown around a lot of possible characters that Ayanda's character may be associated with.

Nkosiyabo Cele (played by Muzi Mthabela) is the first person people have put up as the possible love interest but it seems Ayanda's character will come with a husband (possibly played by Patrick Mofokeng).

The author of Unbecoming to Become has confirmed her move to the soapie and some celebrities on her Instagram post were quick to point out a familiar background in her picture.

THE MLAMBOS' INSCREEN DEBUT The TVSA November teasers indicate that the Nqobile creator might play the character of Doctor Luyolo's (played by Karabo Maseko) mother and Patrick Mofokeng's on-screen wife.

It seems Luyolo and Busisiwe have a shaky relationship but Busisiwe seems willing to repair the cracks and be a good mother.

Ayanda started filming around September. It is unclear when she will make her onscreen debut but TVSA teasers reveal that on 4 November, Luyolo is floored to see who the new owners of the hospital are .

It also appears that Luyolo's parents have a ton of skeletons hidden.
