WTT 2019 tennis streaming world tournament will be held with the JVC Mobile Studio TDS Media, la productora encargada de cubrir el WTT 2019, opta por la soluci n de JVC ya que un nico operador para controlar las se ales de las distintas c maras, as como crear las repeticiones y lanzar los contenidos publicitarios.
El torneo World Team Tennis de Estados Unidos se retransmitir en directo por streaming y por segundo a o consecutivo con un sistema multic mara de producci n m vil basado en 4 c maras GY-HM620 of JVC y el sistema de producci n ProHD Studio 4000 de Streamstar.
La temporada 2019 de este torneo empieza el 14 de julio y dura hasta el 3 agosto, disput ndose los partidos en 8 ubicaciones a lo largo de los EE. UU. Si existe alg n torneo en Estados Unidos que cause furor adem s del US Open es el World Team Tennis, una liga diferente a lo que estamos habituados a ver fuera de EE.UU. que enfrenta a los mejores jugadores del momento y tambi n de ayer. Este torneo fue creado en 1974 en un formato distinto al que estamos habituados en la distribuci n de jugadores o el n mero de sets y partidos. La pista est pintada en varios colores y los jugadores llevan sus nombres en la espalda para identificarlos f cilmente.
In previous years, the retransmission was being done in the traditional way using a mobile unit with all its technical and human resources, with a high total cost of production and sometimes limited the power to provide extensive coverage of the tournament to be played in different venues . In the edition of last year, WTT decided to deploy a team of own production with capacity of images that would allow any party broadcast live on TDT and online platforms.
Once approved the project, production was allocated to the producer TDS Media de Pittsburg, la cual solo tuvo 50 d as antes del primer partido para hacer la ingenier a, implementar y entregar los distintos sistemas, adem s de formar a los distintos equipos que iban a estar sobre el terreno produciendo.
Doug Sicchitano, director de TDS Media, eligi el sistema de producci n m vil ProHD Studio 4000 de Streamstar (comercializado en Europa como SX4) porque era la soluci n ideal que permit a cumplir todos los requisitos exigidos por la WTT y poder adem s utilizar un nico operador para controlar las se ales de las distintas c maras, as como crear las repeticiones y lanzar los contenidos publicitarios. A partir de lo que nos pidi la WTT, dicha soluci n de JVC era la mejor soluci n que encontramos en el mercado , explic . La interfaz de usuario se asemeja a una simple aplicaci n de tel fono m vil. Es tan intuitiva que gracias a ello pudimos formar en solo un par de horas a todos los operadores .
WTT had participants in New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Washington D.C., Orange County (California), Springfield (Missouri), Orlando (Florida) and Las Vegas (Nevada).
Para este torneo de 2018, WTT cubri 32 de sus 43 partidos usando estos sistemas de producci n m vil; solamente la sede de Springfield y 4 partidos para operadores nacionales de cable utilizaron unidades m viles convencionales. Todos los partidos se emitieron en streaming en WTT.tv y por YouTube, Facebook, Twitter y Twitch. Adem s de esto, algunos partidos concretos se entregaron a emisoras deportivas regionales para su difusi n en diferido. Contando con una ampliaci n de recursos en Orlando y Las Vegas, el n mero de partidos a producir con esta soluci n de JVC permitir cubrir cerca de 40 del total de 59 partidos de esta edici n 2019.

El sistema de producci n m vil nos permite retransmitir en directo con calidad broadcast y por un coste muy atractivo .
Versatilidad del equipo Con los nuevos sistemas de producci n m vil empleados por la WTT, una producci n con 3 c maras la maneja un equipo de 6 personas y 2 comentaristas. En el control de producci n, el realizador selecciona las im genes en directo y las repeticiones de las jugadas, mientras que un segundo operador se encarga del sonido y de los gr ficos. Tambi n hay 3 operadores de c mara y m s un t cnico de apoyo.
Los directores de producci n utilizan generalmente el teclado retroiluminado codificado por colores de Streamstar para seleccionar las im genes y crear las repeticiones, y la pantalla t ctil para reproducir y lanzar las repeticiones. Aunque el sistema ProHD Studio 4000 dispone de un mezclador de audio y un generador de caracteres incorporado, Sicchitano decidi utilizar un mezclador Behringer porque permite enviar directamente se al anal gica al ProHD Studio 4000 por un puerto USB y un port til independiente con NewBlueFX Titler Live 3 para el productor Los programas se graban en un Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio Mini y el streaming se genera mediante un Teradek VidiU Pro, quedando el ProHD Studio 4000 como equipo de reserva para ambos.
La disposici n de las 3 c maras contempla normalmente una de ellas para tomas desde arriba y otras dos a nivel de pista y en cada lado de la red para las tomas sobre el jugador y del banquillo. La cuarta entrada del ProHD Studio 4000 se utiliza para el sistema de ojo de halc n Hawk-Eye SMART Replay que utiliza la WTT para ayudar a los jueces de l nea en las pelotas dif ciles y tambi n para proporcionar datos a la producci n en directo. WTT inserta anuncios durante las pausas del juego que luego se guardan y organizan en listas de reproducci n separadas para luego lanzarse desde el reproductor del ProHD Studio 4000.
